Research continues to demonstrate the positive impact of yoga on emotional, mental, physical, behavioral, and spiritual health. With this awareness, we offer individualized private yoga sessions by appointment and small intimate yoga classes.
Our gentle yoga classes are ideal for people interested in exploring yoga, uncomfortable going to a large yoga studio, looking for a family-friendly environment, interested in yoga classes specific to areas of concern, or seeking a smaller safe place to continue the healing process through reconnecting mind, body, and spirit.
Our schedule of classes varies depending on community needs and interest, from gentle hatha yoga classes (physical postures) to other forms such Integrative Relaxation (meditation and integrative relaxation) and Laughter Yoga.

The autonomic nervous system is divided into the sympathetic system, which is often identified with the fight-or-flight response, and the parasympathetic, which is identified with what’s been called the relaxation response. When you do yoga – the deep breathing, the stretching, the movements that release muscle tension, the relaxed focus on being present in your body – you initiate a process that turns the fight-or-flight system off and the relaxation response on. That has a dramatic effect on the body. The heartbeat slows, respiration decreases, blood pressure decreases. The body seizes this chance to turn on the healing mechanisms.
