I was inspired by yoga teachers who saw my potential to take the teacher training course. During my training I felt more of a calling toward meditation. Coming from a childhood filled with challenges, I realize the need for meditation and wish that it was available to me in my younger years. After receiving my yoga teacher certificate I found myself wondering who I am as a yoga instructor and if i had what it takes to teach yoga. As i began to instruct classes I began to find my way in slow flow yoga and meditation. The world can be a fast moving place full of challenges that can cause unwanted anxiety. Yoga is a way of taking the time for yourself to unwind and be mindful; to breathe and to be at peace even if for just an hour at a time and to reflect toward what is truly important in life.
